FY25 Sustainability Performance Update

As part of the Detmold Group, Detpak launched the Group’s 2025–2050 sustainability commitments in December 2024.

The framework sets out 15 targets across four key impact areas: Climate, Nature, Circularity, and Governance. These targets strengthen our commitment to reducing environmental impact and align with our global operations. They also support our customers in making informed, responsible packaging choices and reflect our vision of creating packaging for a better tomorrow.

Highlights from FY25 Progress

  • Climate: Initiatives include transitioning to electric forklifts and vehicles in Asia, energy audits, lighting upgrades, and rooftop solar installations. We aim to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 55% by 2033 and source 30% of electricity from renewables.
  • Nature: Over 70% of fibre is sourced from responsibly managed forests with Chain of Custody certification. We are working toward >95% FSC or PEFC-certified fibre and eliminating deforestation across our supply chain.
  • Circularity: 88% of our stock range is reusable, recyclable, or compostable, and 51% of raw materials include recycled content. We are also improving waste recovery processes, with >85% of operational waste diverted from landfill.
  • Governance: Continued CDP disclosure, ISO 14001 certification progress across global sites, and compliance with packaging and environmental legislation.

These actions demonstrate our commitment to achieving ambitious sustainability goals and driving positive change across our operations globally.
